July 31, 2003 : First Post!

I am finally done re-installing FreeBSD on my server, and at the moment I am switching from b2 to Movable Type. Let's hope all the features I want are available, I don't want to have to switch again... MT has a really schweet interface, and a lot more active developers and users, so I don't think I'll have to change application again. Quite a lot of work to get everything up and running of course, but I think I'm going to feel a lot better about the result when I'm done this time.
Still a lot of work to do, but at least the base install is done, with FreeBSD, MySQL, Apache, PHP, and a bunch of other apps. You just never realise how much work it is to get everything in order after a fresh install...
Anyway, at the moment I'm making sure MT is working fine, and at the same time trying to come up with a new design for this page, since I realised the old one didn't look good enough. Creating a cute webpage is damn hard when you lack designing skills... pah.
